What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle, effective, non-invasive, and powerful form of energy healing. Reiki involves a practitioner placing hands directly above or lightly on the body. Client remains fully clothed. Typically 1-5 minutes in each position.

Reiki greatly accelerates the body’s innate healing abilities, creates emotional peace, calms the mind, strengthens the immune system, relieves pain, blissfully relaxes, releases stress, creates balance and harmony, clears toxins, enhances personal awareness, promotes creativity, opens the heart, treats both symptoms and causes of illness, reconnects us to our spiritual nature, and much more.

Reiki is not connected to any religion around the world. Reiki works no matter what the beliefs of the practitioner and clients are.
Reiki energy is only positive and goes where it is needed.
Reiki is a technique anyone can learn. It is not dependent on intellectual capacity and requires no prior experience with healing, mediation, or any other training.
Reiki practitioners are not transferring their own energy to their clients when giving treatments. The energy comes through the practitioner.
Reiki practitioners receive healing themselves during a session, as the energy passes through them, and they enter a higher healing frequency.
Reiki is not just for humans and can be offered to animals, plants, written prayers or wishes, or homes.

Meet Valerie ~ Reiki Master & Mind Body Soul Transformation Coach

You might assume that as a Reiki Master, Yoga Instructor, Cacao Ceremony Facilitator, and Certified Holistic Nutrition Coach, I was born into a spiritual, awakened life. But my journey was far from that.

I was raised on a dairy farm in west-central Wisconsin, where I learned the value of hard work and perseverance. But despite my strong work ethic, I struggled with low energy, brain fog, and weight issues from a young age.

After earning my degree from UW-River Falls, I landed what I thought was my dream career—a management role on one of the nation’s largest egg farms. I had “made it,” or so I thought. Instead, I found myself battling constant fatigue, stress, social anxiety, and feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. At just 22, I felt pudgy, lethargic, and hopeless.

That’s when I knew—there had to be a better way to feel.

I stumbled into the world of yoga, Reiki, chiropractic care, and holistic nutrition. What I discovered blew me away. Simply by shifting my food choices, movement, and self-care, I experienced a dramatic transformation—my energy, sleep, mood, and even work performance skyrocketed.

Determined to help others break free from the same struggles, I became a:

In 2019, I launched Everything Holistic LLC, offering natural solutions for people like me—those who wanted to heal but lacked the education, community, and resources to do so.

As I deepened into my own healing, I discovered what truly creates lasting, sustainable transformation. This fueled my passion for helping others not only heal physically but also release emotional and energetic blocks that keep them stuck.

My Life Today

Now, I’m blessed with an abundant life I never thought possible. I share my days with my incredible husband, our two-year-old son, and my three amazing bonus children (who are now adults!).

I find joy in nature, travel, shopping, and creating powerful experiences for women who are ready to heal, awaken, and step into their fullest potential.
